The Situation
A mixed-nationality couple in Bangkok (one Thai, one American) had documents spread across two countries with no shared record. They were aware the situation needed attention but found the topic difficult to raise.
How Lineara Helped
They attended the Affairs in Order Workshop together, then booked a Document Inventory session. The inventory produced a single, printed record covering both countries — the first time either of them had seen everything listed in one place.
What Changed
They now have a shared folder with clear location notes for each document. Both reported that the inventory session made the topic easier to discuss as a practical exercise rather than an emotional one. They joined the membership for ongoing support.

The Situation
A recently retired British woman living in Bangkok was concerned that her adult children (based in the UK) would not know how to access basic documents if something happened to her. She had no clear record of what she held or where it was kept.
How Lineara Helped
She attended the Complete Document Inventory session and produced a detailed printed record across two sessions. Lineara provided her with contact details for a recommended Thai-licensed lawyer and an international specialist for further steps she wanted to take — steps Lineara itself could not advise on.
What Changed
She mailed a copy of the inventory to her eldest daughter in the UK. She described the act of sending it as one of the most practical things she had done in years. She subsequently met with the Thai lawyer Lineara signposted her toward.
